Before founding K Sports & Entertainment, a dominant management and marketing firm in Boston, Kristen Kuliga grew up in a small town in Massachusetts.  Kristen Kuliga was surrounded by sports her entire life. Kristen’s father worked as an athletic director, which gave her insight to the world of sports. In high school, Kristen ran track and competed in gymnastics. She went on to attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst to earn her degree in Economics and Political Science. It was not until her senior year of college when Kristen enrolled in a Sports Law class did she find her calling. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, Kristen decided to attend Suffolk University Law School in 1994. While at law school, Kristen found an interest in antitrust law, specifically working on the sports side of the field.

As a member of the sports marketing industry, Kristen has established herself as one of the most influential women in the field. While serving as the Vice President of Athlete Marketing for Woolf Associates, Kristen made a great impression with the development of the cereal “Flutie Flakes” marketing campaign with Buffalo Bills QB, Doug Flutie. At the end of her tenure with Woolf, Kristen was handling the majority of Flutie’s marketing. From there she explored the world of venture capitalism, but Doug Flutie would not let his star sports professional escape. She became certified by the NFLPA as a contract advisor, one of only 30 women. Kristen would go on to become the first woman ever to negotiate a starting NFL Quarterback’s contract. Doug Flutie’s contract with the San Diego Chargers was worth $33 million. Currently, Kristen presides on the fundraising committee for The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.
